HEYGEN AI AVATARS & A/V CLONES AS PEDAGOGICAL AGENTS

Articulate Storyline: AI in the Workplace — Responsible Use Course (AHF)
A five-module Articulate Storyline course built as part of the finalist interview process for the L&D Manager role at AIDS Healthcare Foundation. The course teaches employees how to use AI tools responsibly within a healthcare compliance environment — covering what AI actually does, AHF-specific policy, HIPAA constraints, and how to evaluate which tools are safe for which tasks.
The instructional design follows a scenario-based structure: three branching workplace scenarios (Carmen, David, and Priya) ask learners to make decisions in realistic situations, then reflect on the consequences. A five-question knowledge check closes the learning — four scored multiple-choice items and one open-ended reflection — with layered feedback for both correct and incorrect responses.
The course addresses a tension specific to healthcare organizations: employees are increasingly curious about AI tools, and blanket prohibition doesn't work. The design treats learners as capable adults navigating genuine ambiguity, not policy violators waiting to happen. The feedback copy reinforces that posture — wrong-answer responses explain the reasoning, not just the rule.
Built to AHF brand standards. The full storyboard and script were developed in partnership with Claude AI, with all instructional decisions made by the designer.

Localization Translations
Shows HeyGen's translation feature applied to a finished avatar video, producing a localized version in a second language. Directly relevant to organizations with multilingual workforces or global training delivery needs. Demonstrates practical cost savings over re-recording with live talent.

Barbie Film Clip + HeyGen/ElevenLabs Integration Demo

A creative showcase demonstrating advanced AI media production: the original clip from the film Barbie, followed by a HeyGen A/V clone of Max Miller, then America Ferrara's voice replaced using ElevenLabs Voice Changer. Shows fluency with multiple AI tools in combination — HeyGen for visual cloning, ElevenLabs for voice synthesis — and positions the work at the intersection of AI production capability and instructional media.

HeyGen AI Avatar: Instructional Demo

Created as part of a contract assignment with HeyGen for HeyGen Academy.

Demonstrates the foundational workflow for building a HeyGen AI avatar and deploying it as a pedagogical agent in a learning context. Shows avatar creation, script-to-speech synthesis, and on-screen delivery — establishing the core production pipeline used throughout the portfolio.

HeyGen Avatar: Extended Application

Additional HeyGen Academy contract assignment.

A second avatar demonstration expanding on delivery style or instructional scenario. Highlights the flexibility of HeyGen avatars across different content types, showing how the same technology scales to varied learning objectives without reshooting live video.
